Vessel Walkthrough
Descending from the cockpit to the impressive teak and holly sole, you enter a warm teak paneled space that exudes professional seamanship and comfort. Behind the ladder you just used is a removable cover providing access to the engine room. To stb is the aft facing nav station. The chart table has a large working surface, and is hinged to provide storage below. Probably oversized, but it provides a wonderful desk. Aft to port is the quarter berth, 7' long and wide enough on the fwd end to be a snug double or roomy single, in the enclosed aft cabin. Full hanging locker with drawer and storage below. Forward of the aft cabin is a head with sink, shower, toilet, overhead hatch, 2 opening ports, wet gear hanging locker, and linen and toiletry storage.
Forward of the nav station, also to starboard and mid ships is the U-shaped galley. The deep double sinks are oriented such that the cook is facing forward when using with storage directly beneath. The waist high fridge (Sea Frost, 2012) has 3" closed foam insulation, temp displayed above. Shelves and spacers maximize space use. The gimbaled 3 burner stove with oven and broiler and safety bar oriented along the hull.
Entering the main saloon; there is an L-shaped settee with table to starboard and a settee to port, each with bookshelves behind. The headroom is 6'4" and there is plenty of ventilation and light, with 8 opening ports, two overhead hatches and two dorade vents. The salon is heated with a Force Ten propane heater. The cabin sole is holly and teak, with water tankage below deck.
Moving forward from the salon is the Main Cabin, with 6'1" headroom and a large and comfortable 7' Vberth. To both port and starboard are cedar-lined, full-standing hanging lockers. Mounted to overhead, running to foot of Vberth are 3 clothes storage compartments per side. All volume under berth is available for storage. There are two overhead hatches and two brass lamps provide reading light at night.
QG's interior is spacious, bright, open and beautifully appointed, and with tankage below decks, storage space is extraordinarily abundant.

Stb cockpit locker is large and open to hull, contains battery box with two 4D house batteries and one group 31 start battery. Inboard bulkhead is removable for full access to engine space. Portside cockpit locker is shallow and contains Gale Ryder storm drogue with 300' of 3/4" line and the emergency tiller as well. Located just forward of the wheel are two Barient 2-speed ST primary winches for genoa trim. On the cabin top are four winches- two each side. Two are self tailing and two are not. The mast is supported by chain plate mounted uppers, forward tending lowers, aft tending lowers, and running backstays. The staysail stay is attached at the bow to a fitting on deck. A pelican hook fitting on the end of the stay makes it removable. The staysail slot is parallel to forestay.
